Body of Four is the Canadian version of "Corpo Quatro", my team in 80's with GM Alvaro Barreto. It's an honor to see Professor Marco Costa and Master Shore, rescuing the spirit and giving this tribute to that amazing group and keeping the tradition with high standards and excellent quality of instruction and training. Professor Costa is a loyal student, skillful fighter and amazing Martial Artist, the perfect model of leader for our competition team. He is our General and I'm very proud to have him as Professor Franco's right hand! It's just starting, but we'll see a lot of improvement and results over this initiative he had on build a special training for competitors. His family is beautiful and his home is full of love and joy. Professor Costa and Master Shore together bring harmony and the atmosphere with a unique relationship where both are masters and students! Thank you, my dear students and friends! Corpo Quatro is back! With much love and respect,
Master Sylvio Behring / 6th Degree Red Black Belt / President Franco-Behring Association

I have known Professor Marco Costa for over 7 years. In the beginning the thing that impressed my most was his confidence in Jiu Jitsu and the strength of his technique. As the years went by I got to know Professor Marco better and began to see what everyone else had told me. Professor Marco is an encyclopedia of Jiu Jitsu. I have yet to see him stumped by a question. His ability to find a solution to anyone's challenge amazes me. Where most instructors will find a solution that works for themselves, Professor will find the solution that best suits your body type, be it tall, short, large or disabled. Not only is Professor Marco a great instructor, but a genuine and humble person as well. He is constantly on the search for a new and better way to do Jiu Jitsu while staying close to the roots of self defense and is all to happy to share his passion of Jiu Jitsu with you.

"I've been blessed to train with many exceptional instructors throughout my career.
Marco Costa has always been one of my favourites. His attention to detail, patience and
understanding of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has helped me understand and explain the intricacies as an MMA Analyst, but also made me confident in a self defense situation."
Regards,
Joe Ferraro / MMA Analyst / Host Of UFC Connect on The Score

"During my time in Toronto, Marco Costa was instrumental in helping me to prepare for various mixed martial arts fights. Marco's teaching style and passion for the sport are two of the reasons why I improved. What's more important to me though are the examples he set as a team mate and friend. He makes those around him better and I was fortunate enough to benefit from him in that regard and became a better person on and off the mat for it"

I have known Professor Marco Costa through the BJJ community for almost 10 years now. I have seen him compete, coach, and be a part of almost every event in this province. From my experiences with him, he has always been exceptionally passionate about whatever he does, and has always stayed on top of the sport in both fields. If anyone, wants to learn BJJ from Marco, I highly recommend doing so, as you will be learning with not only one of the pioneers of our sport in Ontario, but from a great person who cares about what he teaches more than anything.

It's an honor and a privilege to have Professor Costa as a mentor, colleague and friend. I have known Professor Costa since January 2001. I came to train with one of the most elite MMA clubs in the country, Shah Franco's, and met Professor Costa there. I had the privilege to train and fight alongside Professor Costa as a team mate and mentor. He never lets his credentials or fight records precede him and wins your respect by gently guiding you and letting his action do the talking. One of the reasons he is my mentor is that he is a successful family oriented business man, entrepreneur, father, husband, and most of all a true Martial Artist and Coach. I recommend Professor Costa to anyone who wants practical and effective martial arts training from a very experienced and mature martial arts instructor. Costa is a modern day genius when it comes to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial arts in general. I look forward to many years of mentorship and friendship with him.

Marco Costa is a legit Behring BJJ Black Belt. I have never seen a more passionate, caring and informative coach/instructor then Marco. With Marco , you are getting a coach who is as legit as they come. He has been involved with BJJ and MMA since the early days of the sport. Don't miss out this great opportunity to learn from a great man.

I'm grateful for the time I had training with Professor Costa. Professor has an approach to teaching very few can match. He taught me the values of team work and dedication and is one of the few people I hold responsible for becoming a teacher myself. Thanks Professor for your inspiration.

It is my great honor to recommend Professor Marco Costa to any potential students as an ideal
coach and mentor. I have known Prof. Costa for well over a decade and have had the pleasure of
competing alongside him earlier in our career. It is difficult for me to categorize Prof. Costa as merely a coach because the qualities that he espouses are too great for that role. He is like a father to his students and a mentor in the most genuine sense because although he possesses extensive knowledge of this great art, he always manages to remain humble and grounded. I would certainly recommend Prof. Costa to anyone seriously interested in commencing their journey in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

What can i say about Professor Costa? He is just too kind, and right away you feel at ease
and a close bond with him. The way he speaks and explains things and the passion he shows just
make you believe and listen even more carefully. It's an honor for me to call Marco Costa, Professor. I haven't trained under him but I am certainly planning on going to his school to roll and learn things to better my game with him and his students. He has an aura that is simple and calm, and just soothes you and things appear clear. He is a great teacher and I have heard many things about him; they are all more than positive. He is very well respected in the community and anybody learning from him is more than lucky. I train under the same organization, Franco Behring, their Jiu-jitsu is very solid and strong based. Professor, I wish you all the best. Be safe, keep doing what you do and lets make this family grow bigger and stronger.
